How much does it cost to attend group therapy?
At the Psychological Services Center, our goal is to ensure that financial constraints are never a barrier to accessing mental health treatment. Our sessions are typically $20/each for group therapy, but we also offer a sliding scale fee when needed.
How do I join a group?
If you are interested in joining a group, please use the link below to schedule a free 30-minute phone consultation with one of our group leaders. Following the consultation, you will schedule a time to meet briefly with your group leader in order for us to learn a bit about your background, discuss group logistics, and answer any questions you may have. After that, you are ready to join the group!
What times and days are the groups offered?
While our group times may change yearly, they are commonly in the evenings. Many of our groups are currently held virtually via HIPAA-compliant Zoom due to COVID-19 restrictions. Groups that are held in-person meet at the Psychological Services Center at Regent University (1000 Regent University Drive, CRB 188, Virginia Beach VA 23464).
